![]() Having every encounter play out like Serious Sam is going to be extremely unenjoyable if every enemy tanks 10+ hits before going down. My hope is the developers intentionally handicapped their abilities to drag out the encounters and showcase as many combat mechanics as possible. I’ve never felt the tinge of motion sickness I experienced watching some of the more aggressive gameplay. The murky distortion effect that obscures half the screen whenever you take damage looks so overbearing and most of the gameplay footage is obscured by it. Yea, my confidence rose a bit when I saw the IGN hands-on preview, but the combat looks really sluggish and disorienting.
